Trust Your Body Birth
Birth and Postpartum Doula Support
Working Together
Birth is transformation. You are on a journey that has the opportunity to enliven, expand, and empower you. As a Doula I will advocate for you and the birther led experience. I will be a guide to resource, bringing physical and emotional support. I mention Birther led experience as birth and pregnancy is your experience, you hold the power. My role is to support your agency and see your desires through safely.
It is possible that together we will see fears and trauma. And we will see them through. I will help cultivate a safe space, embodiment and nervous system regulation practices, and tend to helpful resources. We will envision and set preferences for the birth you want, while also being ready for variation. My goal is for you to have a birth story you feel present and honored in.
My joy is to witness you trusting yourself and your process. We are born knowing how to give birth. We are instinctual. Labor, though painful, can also be pleasurable, offering levity and pride. Even offering sensuality as you connect to your rhythms. This journey is a beautiful moment to deepen reverence for yourself.
My passion in birth work is to witness all birthers: BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ communities, and women- be empowered and respected. I support anti-racism, intersectional feminism, and inclusion of all bodies. I support evidence based birth options.
My promise is to continually evaluate and educate myself so that I may be worthy of your trust and team.

Entering Doula work
In 2020 I began to feel refuge in my body again after intentional years of trauma work. Support came through many mediums during in this time, including womb work. Womb work honed on embodiment, grief allowance, and somatic tools. These practices helped expand my nervous system capacity to receive the nurturing and listening I needed. I am grateful for the community care seeing me through such a pivotal moment in my life. So much of healing is collective.
My deepening safety eased into a great self trust. In this experience my ears started picking up on the whispers of birth work. Work that envelops transformation and revolution centered around de-shaming our bodies and knowing our agency. Work that I first did(and still do) with myself. Being a doula encompasses my desire to uplift and extend advocacy for the birth you want.
Birth does not have to be traumatic. Your birth can be a place to feel whole, loved and in awe of what you, your body, can do. I will work with you through any wound or fear pregnancy touches upon. And work through any external system that does not garner support or inclusivity. No one needs to be alone or feel alone on their journey. I truly believe birth has the power to bring transformative safety, joy, empowerment.

“Dani is an amazing cook! She has a deep knowledge and understanding of a woman’s postpartum nutritional needs, and enveloped them into incredibly delicious and hearty meals. She was such a great and needed help for us after we had our daughter - a calming presence for everyone in the family. We felt so comfortable with her, and grateful for the help. Her knowledge of body work and rehab, and her writing exercises helped us greatly in getting back on track and recovering. Five out of five stars!”

“Our PP Doula Dani has been with us since our little girl Ruby was about two weeks old & we felt comfortable with her from the start! She has such a calming energy & presence; which is so needed during the postpartum time. Dani has been such a blessing to our family; to have someone you feel comfortable & safe around your newborn is priceless (especially during those early days with very little sleep)! She is nurturing & playful with Ruby & is knowledgeable about all things baby & PP. It really helps to have her as a support person in your new “village” as a mom. Plus the fact that she does Reiki/body healing work for the mama’s is an added bonus that I look forward to every session. We feel very lucky to have Dani & would recommended her to new parents looking for a calm, nurturing, supportive & knowledgeable PP Doula.”

“Serendipitously, I booked Dani the night before I was induced (unplanned)! I was speaking with different doulas a week before, and I just loved Dani's energy and approach. She spent over an hour answering my questions, telling me about herself, and aligning with how she could help with the needs I communicated. We scheduled our first pre labor meeting for that weekend, but I started leaking fluid and was induced the next day after our call-4 weeks early! I texted Dani right away and she said she would come to the hospital whenever I needed her to be there. I didn't need her until the next morning when I started to get more uncomfortable and tired, and she came right away. It was perfect because my partner had been awake all night so he finally got to sleep for 3 hours becuase he felt so much more comfortable with Dani there. That break helped him so much for when it was actually time for him to support me while pushing and after the baby came. It was amazing for me as Dani and I had great conversations, and she did body work on me the entire time. I felt like I was getting a 6 hour massage! It definitly relieved the aches I was having from being in the hospital bed for so long. My neck had a horrible kink in it also which she was able to get out. When it was time to push, Dani, my doctor, my parter and my nurse made the perfect team, my partner at my head and Dani and the nurse holding each leg. When the baby started crowning (and a few moments during the pushing and many photos after the delivery) Dani was able to get the most incredible birthing photos. I'm SO glad to have these as it was such an amazing experience and a perspective I didn't get to see during! I talk about Dani and how amazing my experience was when anyone who asks about the birth. She made me feel so comfortable and made me feel like my labor experience was very easy! I will definitly be using her again for the next one!”

“Dani is an exceptional meal preparer and chef who truly goes above and beyond to help her clients. When my son was diagnosed with food sensitivities that required a significant change in his diet, we were at a loss as to how to adapt our cooking to meet his needs. Luckily, we found Dani, and she has been an absolute lifesaver! From the moment we met Dani, we knew we were in good hands. She took the time to get to know us, our family's food preferences, and most importantly, my son's dietary restrictions. She then worked with us to create a meal plan that not only met his needs but also tasted delicious. What really sets Dani apart is her attention to detail. She sources only the freshest ingredients, and her culinary skills are top-notch. Every dish she prepares is not only beautiful to look at but also bursting with flavor. And because she takes the time to understand her clients' needs, she can adapt her cooking to meet any dietary restriction or preference. But what really makes Dani stand out is her warmth and compassion. She genuinely cares about her clients and goes out of her way to make sure they are happy and satisfied. In short, Dani provides an exceptional service and has made a tremendous difference in our lives. Her talent, dedication, and compassion are truly unmatched. I can't recommend her highly enough!”
